LTL transport (Less Than Truckload) is a transport where the client does not need entire vehicle, but only a part of it. It can be a partial transport, sharing the vehicle’s cargo space in with another customer, where the vehicle’s cargo space is divided between different senders.

LTL transport goods usually have small dimensions and are of various shapes. They are transported individually or collectively in one transport to different recipients. The cost of transport is shared between several senders, in a manner adequate to the weight and size of the goods and the distance that the goods must travel. LTL transport is cost-effective for clients. The possibility of ordering smaller batches of goods also allows you to minimize your inventory, and as a result, reduce storage costs.

LTL transport is the most popular type of transport in the TSL industry, although the organization of freight forwarding in the case of LTL transport is more complicated than in the case of full truckload transport. Loading and unloading itself is more time-consuming – you need to plan the cargo space well, taking into account the various dimensions, shape, weight and properties of the goods transported, as well as the order of unloading.

FTL transport (Full Truck Load) is a transport for which the client rents the entire vehicle. It does not matter whether it will actually fill the entire vehicle with its load or not.

All transport is delivered directly from one sender to one recipient. No need for reloading along the route, bypassing intermediate distribution centers and sorting goods, minimizing the risk of damage or loss of goods. If you choose full truckload transport, you do not need to look for carriers that carry out orders of a similar nature and on the route you are interested in, so logistics and procedures related to the transport process are simplified. Therefore, the transport is carried out as quickly as possible.
